The laser beam can be seen on the ground day or night, enabling you to adjust the camera lens to pinpoint whatever position you desire. No climbing or ladders are ever required with any of our products! Everything is installed, adjusted, and set from the ground! Batteries not included. Laser requires 2 AAA batteries.
